Telehealth assessments can be conducted for people who live further away.
How long do assessments generally take?
Assessments typically take two hours, but may take up to four hours, depending on the number and severity of challenges
Can a friend, family member or Support Worker be present during an assessment?
Yes, you can invite people to support you, or people who can provide insight into your conditions. Sometimes the Occupational Therapist will request that you invite your Support Coordinator or Support Worker along
Do you do “Supporting evidence for NDIS participation” assessments?
Yes, we can do these assessments, however the person must pay for them before the document is forwarded to the NDIS for review. The NDIS does not pay for these assessments. They generally cost between $500 and $1000 depending on the complexity of issues and any travel requirements.
